About

David Peteler

For over 30 years, I have helped clients make an impact on their business and our society.

As a father and grandfather, I want to do what I can to improve our world and leave it better for the future generations.

My clients share my concern over our society and our environment. I serve companies in social impact, renewable energy, sustainable products, agriculture, and other industries that have a positive impact on our economy and our lives.

My consumer-facing clients develop products for Fintech, e-commerce, healthcare, charitable giving, the elderly, and underrepresented populations.

From Silicon Valley in the 1980’s to Minnesota in the 2020’s, I’ve developed expertise and experience working with a broad range of businesses and industries, including:

  1. Startups and Entrepreneurial Companies
  2. Venture Capital Financing
  3. Mergers and Acquisitions
  4. Project Financing
  5. Benefit Corporations and Non-Profits
  6. Social Impact Companies

I’ve been pleased to work with minority and women founders, helping them structure their businesses, prepare for financing, and negotiate and close investments.

In my spare time, I work with a non-profit organization that supports an orphanage in India for Tibetan refugee children.  I have enjoyed rock climbing and mountaineering, summiting Mt. Athabasca (Canada), Mt. Rainier (Washington), Mt. Whitney (California) and Denali (Alaska).  I own and operate a small resort in northern Minnesota, catering to health and wellness retreats.
